Effective Wednesday, September 28, 2011:
>> Certification for marriage and death documents will be done electronically by the Ottawa County Clerk's Office. Roll out for all other Vital Records, excluding birth certification, will be completed by October 31st. Circuit Court Records will begin certifying documents electronically on Monday, October 3, 2011.
Effective Monday, June 13, 2011:
>> Passports are available by appointment only at our Fillmore-West Olive location.
Effective Monday, May 2, 2011:
>> Hudsonville office will no longer accepts passports.
Effective Friday, April 1, 2011:
>> Effective April 1, 2011 all birth certificates (including adults) must have parents' names.

Vital Records are birth, death, and marriage records as well as Concealed Weapons (CCW) and Doing Business As (DBA) permits. Passports and Public Notary applications are also available. Certified copies of birth, death, and marriage records may be obtained from the County Clerk's Office.
